Have fun making your own African feast exploring food from Morocco, Mozambique, Cameroon and South Africa. All whilst under the beat of the African drum. Spices are crushed by you using the Pestle & Mortar so enjoy the aromas and flavours of this magnificent continent.
Many schools are studying the Greek influence and history this year and we have put together by request a Greek session. This includes Greek food history, production and of course creating a meal including my ever popular meatballs and pitta bread.
Spanish Tapas is a colourful session that will allow your children to explore the fantastic fresh Spanish foods and enjoy the flavours and sounds of Spain. The Atlantic coast of Spain is one of my favorite food destinations and the fish is amasing and the surfs great.
French Cuisine provides a journey through the taste of France. Not the high end Michelin Star dishes but the magnificent provincial foods of France. Mini baguettes are made by the children along with a poulet chasseur. The children also get the chance to make a classic sweet Tarte Tatin.
The first & still popular session that allows the children to create a complete meal from scratch including pizza using fresh mozzarella & fresh tomato sauce full of loads of hidden vegetables, a strawberry and banana milkshake and berry and yoghurt granola pot!
Indian & Diwali Discovering that Spice doesn’t mean hot! Sampling foods the children have prepared including naan bread and finding out what Tandoor means. We touch upon the story of Rama as he searches for Sita with help from Hanuman the monkey.
