World War 1 Workshop

  A difficult topic to cover but one that inspires the classes to try some old fashioned cooking. Some of the recipes were found in the "Feeding Tommy" book.  They will be surprised as was about rationing in WW1. We use the Fun Food Chef oven instead of Aldershot oven.

(As ever your children get to prepare and taste all of the WW1 menu)

Flying Ferment (quick trench bread)

Rissoles & Gravy

Rice Croquettes

Cabbage broth

Jam Roll & custard

Hot Chocolate (served cold as a shake!)

Spanish Tapas is a colourful session that will allow your children to explore the fantastic fresh Spanish foods and enjoy the flavours and sounds of Spain. The Atlantic coast of Spain is one of my favorite food destinations and the fish is amasing and the surfs great.
