World War 1 Workshop
A difficult topic to cover but one that inspires the classes to try some old fashioned cooking. Some of the recipes were found in the "Feeding Tommy" book. They will be surprised as was about rationing in WW1. We use the Fun Food Chef oven instead of Aldershot oven.

Flying Ferment (quick trench bread)
Rissoles & Gravy
Rice Croquettes
Cabbage broth
Jam Roll & custard
Hot Chocolate (served cold as a shake!)
