The Fun Food Chef can provide catering for all your needs. We believe in going the extra mile to ensure your event is catered for to the very highest standards using fresh local ingredients when ever possible.
This includes fish from Ward’s fishmongers Birkenhead, flour from the fantastic Walk Mill near Chester, meat from Williams & Son Butchers, Caergwrle fruit and vegetables from Williams & Son and even herbs and spices from the amazing Seasoned Pioneers in Bromborough.

The quality products we use and are essential to make the dishes come alive at your event.
The meat, as you would expect, is pivotal and is sourced from my local butcher Derek Massey’s in Heswall. The beef is Welsh Black reared in North Wales, lamb is of the Suffolk breed and is reared in either North Wales or even as close as Burton Marshes, Pork from Gloucester Old Spot and again reared in North Wales, and any game used is from the Grosvenor Estate. All the chicken we use is free range.
Any fish used is from a sustainable source and supplied by Wards of Birkenhead who also supply some of the top restaurants in our area. In addition we support fair-trade products in respect of tea, coffee and spices.

One & Two Pot Winter Wonders (Comfort Food at it’s Best)
Are you planning to entertain this winter? Then why not let The Fun Food Chef take the strain by having them deliver fine food to your door. The Winter Wonder dishes are packed full of quality ingredients locally purchased for you and your guests’ pleasure. All are prepared in one or two pots and are delivered piping hot ready to serve. The range includes; Greek lamb moussaka served with crisp salad, freshly made beef or vegetable lasagne served with crisp salad, authentic curries served with pilaf rice, magnificent Irish stew served with fresh soda bread. In addition we can also arrange crockery and cutlery to save on the washing if you require. Tomlin signs enjoyed a festive feast that ensured their Christmas function for staff and clients was catered for to the highest of standards. They chose an enhanced menu from the one & two pot winter warmers menu that included freshly made mince pies, rustic pate with fresh breads , Bramley apple crumble flan and a fine British cheese board.
All the ingredients and dishes were freshly produced including the mince meat for the pies, broccoli & celeriac pate, pork & port pate, rustic breads, pickles, soda bread and the curries and stews.

Our elite barbecue service is designed to take the pressure from you when entertaining and provide you and your guests with fine local food prepared to the highest standards for your delight. We only use crockery and linen for this service to ensure that your guests feel special. This really is the way to set the standards this barbecue season!
